Spaced Repetition: The Flashcard Method That Helps You Remember More
By the PassSpark team · 2026-10-22 · Study tips, Flashcards
Cramming feels effective because facts are fresh. A week later most of it is gone. Spaced repetition fixes this by showing you each fact just before you would forget it.
How it works
You review a card. If you remember, the next review comes later (for example 1 day, then 3, then 7, then 14). If you forget, it returns sooner. Over time you spend most effort on the cards you find hard.
Make good flashcards
- One idea per card.
- Write the question so that you must recall, not just recognise.
- Use your own words, and add a small example.
- Turn every question you miss into a card.
A simple weekly routine
- Practise a set of questions.
- Add the missed ones to your review pile.
- Review the pile for 10 to 15 minutes daily.
PassSpark builds flashcards from every practice set and brings missed questions back for review. Browse all exams to start.
